The AirPod replacement will be shipped the same business day or the next, depending on the time of purchase. Orders purchased on Sunday will be processed on Monday. Our shipping estimate is 3-5 Business Days via USPS First Class.
Place both AirPods in your charging case, and charge for at least 1 hour through a wall outlet. Open the charging case lid and verify the light is flashing amber. Press and hold the setup button on the AirPod for 5 to 30 seconds. The light should flash white. If still flashing amber, continue to charge for another 30 minutes, then attempt this step again until flashing white. Open the case, and with your AirPods, both inserted into the charging case still, hold it next to your phone(phone needs to be unlocked) and wait for the setup animation. Select Connect, and tap Done.

I’ve had to buy individual, replacement AirPods more than once thanks to a large labradoodle who thinks my Pods are a great toy…. only the right side seems to get stolen, twice from my ear as I slept, but I digress.
This time I found the best price for an actual Apple product with Re-Cell, so I happily ordered two replacement rights so that I could have two functional sets of AirPods again. Re-Cell shipped them same day, and I received them 2 days later.
I began trying to pair them with the two existing left AirPods that Rusty doesn’t eat for whatever reason, and immediately had problems with the replacements not pairing at all. After a week of trying all the different tutorials (which are really all the same info, but for some reason I tried a half dozen tutorials—in addition to the card that Re-Cell included—before I finally reached out to Re-Cell for help.
Bruce responded almost immediately, and after a few back and forth, we realized that I had ordered the wrong generation AirPods—I am an engineer but not a techie. Despite it being clearly, 100% my fault for ordering incorrectly, Bruce very promptly and professionally guided me through ordering the correct Pods and getting the incorrect Pods returned to them—for full credit.
I am disabled and don’t get out of the house a whole lot, so being able to order these online was important, and the painless process to make me happy was clearly important to Bruce and Re-Cell.
If anyone reads all of this, I feel the need to…
